The Sidi Jarin Mountain Bike Shoe has the lightweight stiff structure of a racing road shoe, but the durability of a mountain bike shoe. Designed with a medium-modulus carbon sole, the Jarin is an improvement in mountain bike performance cycling gear. The SRS Carbon-Ground sole is stiff and light. It weighs 100 grams less that SIDI’s previous premium off-road carbon soled shoe (Dragon SRS). Features have been added to not only improve performance, but to protect the foot from injury. Many of these same features are insurance that the SIDI Jarin Mountain Bike Shoes will not degrade and continue to provide support on a multitude of trail rides and races. The replaceable MTB plate protects the sole of a foot from the pressure placed between foot and pedal. The shock from riding over rocks, logs and other debris on a trail will be partially absorbed through the MTB plate. The anatomically shaped SIDI heel cup minimizes abrasion. The fit also zones leg power into the pedal. Additionally, in case of crash, the heel cup guards against injury. At the toe area, abrasion resistant rubber adds protection to the front of your foot. It also helps extend the life of the mountain bike shoe that collides with stones, branches, and other off-road debris. The Techpro microfibre upper is stiff and its breathability keeps your feet dry and comfortable. The tough and resilient material adds one more feature to make a long-lasting mountain bike shoe. SIDI’s Wire material threads through the Tecno-3 push system that is adjusted through two dials. The design creates a symmetry and allows a perfect fit by conforming its contours around different foot shapes. An innovative button simplifies the adjustment. Push the button, lift the buckle, and adjust until you find the right fit even as you pedal. Comfort is extended beyond just a good fit. The soft instep closure system has a strap and a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad designed to curve around the foot. The design not only makes a more comfortable shoe, but a better fitting shoe that maximizes power output. It can be adjusted from both sides to eliminate the need for the High Instep Extender. The soft Instep Closure System is also replaceable.
