Time Trial Helmets

Tour Cycling offers the same time trial helmets worn by Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins to win time trials in the Tour de France. Our time trial helmets can be used in road time trials, pursuits on the track and triathlons. The Kask Bambino helmet was created after extensive testing on how to get the most aerodynamic helmet that allowed enough ventilation and protection in case of crash. The Bambino covers your head down to your ears and then ends in a tear drop so air flows with no interruption. In order to make sure a cyclist’s head is ventilated while still riding in an extremely aero helmet, Kask engineers found a way to create 6 vents at the front which directs front end airflow through the helmet and out to the back through 4 vents. For triathletes who are looking for a specialized tri-helmet, the Lazer Tardiz Time Trial Helmet won the 220 Triathlon Editor’s Choice Award in 2013. Six vents that channel air over the head along with a ventilation port on the top surface, the Tardiz triathlon helmet allows a triathlete the chance to pour water into the helmet and prevent overheating. The Kask Air Wasp Helmet is a shorter version of a long tailed helmet. The Air Wasp can be used in time trials, road races and criteriums. Air flows over the dimpled front of The Louis Garneau Vortice Helmet which cuts drag by 11%. The straps can be adjusted with one hand so the fit and protection is perfected.
