The Castelli Velocissimo 2 Jacket keeps you warm when riding moderate intensity on cool days or high intensity on cold days. The Thermoflex collar can be flipped up to block out cool wind and it can be easily flipped down when the rider needs some cooling air as the ride intensity increases. A neck protector has been added so the collar feels super comfortable against the neck. The jacket regulates body temperature through a complex series of fabrics that have taken Castelli years of research to design along with many professional riders to test out the cycling clothing. The Velocissimo Jacket is an aerodynamic jacket to keep the pros warm and dry. The Windstopper® X-Fast on the front and the sleeves is aerodynamic and it blocks chilly wind. The Warmer fabric on the back panel insulates body heat while allowing sweat to evaporate when the riding pace gets fast. The highly breathable rear fleece fabric expels body heat while the windproof front fabric blocks cold wind. To further perfect the fit, Castelli engineers created a close-to-body jacket that fits perfectly while in the riding position. While it keeps a cyclist protected against chilly wind, the cycling jacket is lightweight enough to feel like a long sleeve jersey. The jacket is made for the rider who is working on the bike—working to get fit or outpace the other riders in the peloton.
