For fast bike races in warm weather, you can fully unzip the Sanremo for extra cooling. The Bolero Short Sleeve base layer adds up to a 6% aerodynamic advantage. The Progetto X² Air seamless seat pad has two densities of foam plus a gel pad to protect the most sensitive parts without creating excessive bulk. The padding protects without interfering with a pedal stroke when you are riding away from a chasing peloton. A separate soft and stretchy skin layer in the seat pad helps keep your seat area from chafing which is necessary for maintaining comfort on those stage races.
