The Castelli Perfetto Women’s RoS Jacket is made for wearing in ‘rain or shine.’ Compared to the Gabba, the Perfetto is lighter, more packable and extra breathable which makes it a jacket for the woman racer. The design of the Perfetto was made by request of Castelli’s pro riders who wanted a cooler version of the Gabba. The Perfetto Light has the same insulating and breathable features that characterize the Gabba, but the Perfetto is lighter, with thinner fabrics on the front and back. Better rain protection and improved breathability are two additional features that have been improved. The Gore-Tex Infinium™, used as the main fabric in the Perfetto, blocks all wind, ranging from breezes to gales. On the back, Nano Flex Light is woven into the fabric causing water to roll right off the jacket. Although wind-blocking and water-resistant, this women’s jacket is still very breathable so when you sweat your body moisture immediately evaporates. If a lot of extra air is needed, the YKK® Vislon® zipper is easy to open. Finally, a dropped tail covers the seat area to protect against road spray and two large pockets provide plenty of space for riding food. A pump sleeve has been added as a place to store a bike pump or extra food bars. The Perfetto Light is comparable to a Perfetto Vest with sleeves.
