Castelli Competizione Kit Bibshort

The Castelli Competizione Kit Bib-short is made with top-of-the-line design technology used in Castelli’s pro-level race shorts but at a more accessible price. While the Competizione will provide what you need for weekend racing, the comfort of just the right combination of fabrics and the KISS Air² seat pad make the bib-shorts great for all types of bike rides. The stretchy Affinity Pro Lycra® fabric on the inside provides a perfect fit no matter what position you hold on the bike. The stretch and rebound quality create a short that will never fold and snag on a seat. The Vortex BLC textured fabric creates a surface for fluid airflow. The fabric improves aerodynamics. The GIRO? leg gripper with raw edge spreads the tension over a larger area to increase comfort. Silicone grips have been added into the raw edge to keep the shorts in place. Sewn together with flat-lock stitching, the seams feel just as comfortable as the surface with no seams. The bib straps are made with mesh, so they are lightweight and stretchy. You won’t even notice you are riding in bibs. The KISS Air² seat pad has many of the same features as does Castelli’s best seat pad, the Progetto X² Air seamless. The KISS Air² is also seamless and made with a soft layer next to skin. The padding varies in thickness, thicker padding in areas that receive the most pressure and thinner padding on the outer part of the seat pad. In the Competizione, a cyclist is protected on long distance rides without compromising performance.
