Castelli All Out Speed Suit

The Castelli All Out Speed Suit was originally designed for Marino Vanhoenacker who set a world best time for a full distance triathlon. He wanted a single speed suit that he wouldn’t lose time on in the transitions and that would be fast in the swim, bike and run. Vanhoenacker debuted the All Out Speed Suit at the IM Kagenfurt for his 8th victory at that race. The suit has been put together by combining the T1:Steath Top with the Free Tri Short. The top in the speed suit is made with Velocity Speed Fabric over the front and back while mesh has been added to the shoulders making it six minutes faster on the bike leg than would a sleeveless top. Sun protection has been added to block the hours of sun rays a triathlete is exposed to on long distance triathlons. The YKK Vislon Zipper lies flat against the body and it’s easy to open up when extra ventilation is needed. The shorts are made with Instadry Free Fabric that absorbs minimal water making these shorts very fast in the swim. The suit can easily be worn under a wetsuit without any restrictions. The KISS Tri seat pad has been added to provide protection to the genitals while a triathlete is in the time trial position. To accommodate the forward TT position, the padding has been moved a little more forward than the standard cycling shorts. The padding has also been made to nearly disappear on the run so a triathlete feels like he’s running with no pad. The fabric in the entire speed suit is porous which means air can flow through it which keeps a triathlete cool on the bike and run. An SPF 16 and extra-long sleeves protect against sun. For the triathlete who needs to take a nature break, Castelli added a Sanremo front. Two back pockets have been added for easy access and the GIRO Air leg gripper keeps the shorts in place without snagging at the skin. The Castelli All Out Speed Suit has all the features added to it so as to make it the fastest skin suit available for the triathlete who likes to take on long distance triathlons.
