Air flows through the surface area of the skin layer which is also amazingly soft. Padding is thicker in the most sensitive seat areas while the padding tapers so you have enough protection, but no bulk interferes with staying comfortable with every pedal stroke. For protection against UV rays, the fabric has a UPF 50+ rating.
